The “food grade” oils and essential oils can penetrate the skin’s epidermis and bring therapeutic ingredients to the body.  Some essential oils can calm inflamed or irritated skin, soothe sore muscles and aid in blood circulation.  Essential oils are very powerful anti-oxidants.  They are antibacterial, anti-fungal, antiseptic, antiviral and anti-parasitic.  Many scientists believe essential oils can stimulate the body’s own natural defense system.  Studies have shown that basil, tea tree, and thyme essential oils can encourage the production of white blood cells, boosting the immune system.

Available Soaps

Almond Oatmeal Scrub– Finely ground almonds provide a mild abrasive for gently removing dead surface cells.  Oatmeal gently softens overworked and irritated skin, providing a mild abrasive to also gently remove dead surface cells.  This soap is a mild exfoliant that moistures the skin and is scent free.

Chef’s Choice-  This is a great hand soap for the kitchen as it removes onion, garlic, etc. smells from hands.  Enticing aroma provided by baking chocolate and peppermint.  Soap has ground coffee and almonds to exfoliate and oatmeal to moisturize.

Energy– Refreshing, invigorating, renewing and purifying.

Gardenia– Ummmm, smells like the wonderful flowers.

Geranium and Rosemary– Geranium for dermatitis, broken capillaries, eczema, oily completion, mature skin, and is a mosquito repellent.  Rosemary  is used for acne, headaches and poor circulation.

Grapefruit– Good for acne as it is cleansing and detoxifying.  Very soothing.

Green Tea Lime– Very refreshing, especially in hot climates.  It has astringent qualities, which are useful for oily skin.  Also carries some antidepressant capabilities, so is uplifting.  Loose tea is used for a very mild exfoliant.

High Desert– Pine and sage provide the smell of Central Oregon after a fresh rain.  Pine is purifying, soothes muscles and sage is useful in healing acne and dermatitis.

Honey– Honey has amazing natural cleansing and hydrating properties, and is gentle enough for dry and sensitive skin.

Honey Delight– Contains various citrus oils with a hint of lavender.  These oils are uplifting, lymph stimulating, powerful bactericide, and antiseptic.

Immune Support– Ingredients for boosting immune system and energy stimulant as well as calming stress, depression and insomnia.

Lavender– Lavender is calming, antiseptic and antibacterial.  Also used for stiff joints, bruises and headaches.

Lavender Scrub– This soap has crushed lavender flowers in the bar to serve as a mild exfoliant.

Lavender Rosemary– Lavender provides the calming, antiseptic and antibacterial properties while rosemary deep cleans and soothes headaches and chronic fatigue.  It promotes circulation and invigorates.  It is an excellent brain stimulant.

Lavender Rosemary Scrub– This soap has crushed lavender flowers in the bar to serve as a mild exfoliant.

Lemon Bergamot– Lemon cleanses, refreshes, cools and stimulates as well as being a powerful bactericide.  Bergamot lifts the spirits while helping to calm the soul.  It is a natural deodorant and good for oily skin.

Lemongrass Sage– Powerful bactericide and antiseptic.  Very useful as an insect repellent and deodorant.  Lemongrass is used for acne and athletes foot.  Sage is useful in clearing up acne and dermatitis.

Licorice– What can we say?  If you like black licorice, you’ll love this soap. Aniseed essential oil is spirit elevating and is often used in perfumes.

Magnolia– Like Gardenia – what a heavenly smell.

Patchouli– Deep spicy smell that is balancing and grounding.  Good for oily skin.

Pure and Natural– No essential oils added.  This is pure and natural soap for those who do not wish to have a scented soap.  Hunters especially like this soap.

Sweet Orange– Such a light fragrance that promotes peace and happiness, helps with sore muscles and is an uplifting tonic.

Tangerine– Soothing and uplifting and is a skin tonic which speeds out toxins.

Toasted Coconut– Has coconut powder to provide a slight scrub for exfoliation  Coconut lovers beware, it is addicting.

Vanilla– Who doesn’t like the smell of vanilla?  Ground vanilla seeds are added to give the bar a slight speckle and scrub.

Basic ingredients in our soaps include:

Distilled water has all the minerals and impurities removed.

Beeswax to provide moisturizer and make soap bar a harder consistency.

Palm kernel oil makes soap harder and gives exceptional lather.  Has moisturizing properties.

Coconut oil is odorless oil that helps make soap a quick lathering cleanser that is rapidly absorbed by the skin.

Palm oil has properties similar to tallow.  It yields a firm, longer lasting soap.

Rice Bran oil contains the highest amount of vitamin E in liquid form.  May help alleviate skin irritations and hinder ultraviolet rays.
